On “The Abolition of Man”

  • St Brigids Parish Center Library 122 North Pleasant Street Amherst, MA, 01002 United States (map)

In 1943, C.S. Lewis gave a series of radio broadcasts in which he described the status of the moral universe. These lectures were later published as “The Abolition of Man”, which is a departure from his usual Christian apologetics and instead delves into the concept of Natural Law and its underpinnings. This Monday night we’ll have a conversation about how this 80 year old book lays out a prognosis for our own times. The conversation will be lead by Forge members familiar with the work of Lewis. You need not read to the book to enjoy the conversation. Just come with an open heart and an open mind.
